Why grow your own food?
Growing your own food offers numerous advantages. These include mitigating the impact of rising food costs and a volatile supply chain. By gardening, you gain control over the quality, cleanliness, and purity of your food, which is increasingly important given the decline in available food quality. Furthermore, it provides significant health benefits through fresh air, sun exposure, and the therapeutic experience of working the soil and connecting with your natural environment.
How?
Regardless of your living situation, you have options for growing at least some of your own food.
Homestead/Farm: If possible, purchase enough land to establish your own farm or homestead.

Suburban Micro-Farm: Transform your existing property into a small-scale suburban farm by redesigning the landscape. Here is an example of an in-town lot that is â…• of an acre. Using raised beds and a simple greenhouse, you can grow an abundance of food.

Indoor Growing (Confined Space/Renting): Even in a small or rented space, you can grow micro-greens indoors. All you need are a stand, trays, potting soil, seeds, and access to a sunny window.
